Birthday Fun

Micah started his birthday opening presents, then moved on the traditional Holmes b-day breakfast, DONUTS! He wanted to go to Knotts Berry Farm for his birthday. John wasn't feeling well and decided not to go.  Seth said he would stay at home with daddy so we could do all the roller coasters.  Off we went Micah,  Sarah, Joel and myself.  We made it on the Log Ride and Calico Mining Railroad before we found out that they don't let people with casts (less than 2 weeks old)  on almost all rides (the fun ones).  Well, that bummed us out so bad, we decided to get a comp day for when his cast is off.  Next stop, we are off to see Shrek 4.  Good movie filled with belly laughs and popcorn galore!  last stop, Ruby's Diner, for dinner.  They even sang a really cute song to him complete with an ice cream sunday and silly hat!  So even though we had a few disappointments, God still managed to make this day extra special.  Happy Birthday Micah. You are a joy in our lives.  We love you and thank Jesus for you.
