24 The amazing mission adventures with Micah

The joys of 4th grade and living in California.  We get to study Cali history and make some fun crafts.  For instance, this awesome Mission ---Micah started to make yesterday.  It is a work in progress-- so stay tuned for more pics.  This one is called San BuenaVentura.  1792 was when it was built.  Any one up for a road trip? Micah would love to go visit it.  Its up near the Los Angeles--Santa Barbara region (whatever that means.....oh maybe Ventura!!! duh lol)  Another cool thing about homeschooling is, we get to use the already manufactured kits from Michaels!  Although I must say, if you were to purchase all the cute extra supplies they recommend for lots of detail, it will run you appx. $50.00 and that's with a coupon!!  We are going with the more creative route, legos, spray paint...etc. you get the idea!  Like I said, stay tuned ..........for more amazing mission adventures with Micah.  Oh and did you notice Micah got his cast off yesterday! Yipee!! We are so thankful and just in time for a big ol' turkey leg and some fun next week...but thats a whole 'nother adventure!
