We took the kids last night on a super neat field trip to
LOGANS CANDIES.
We watched the art of making candy canes.
Folding and bending, heating the mixture, adding the peppermint at just the right time.
Until you have the perfect candy cane.
The kids were able to bend their own candy cane into whatever shape they wanted.
Sweet and so yummy. If you have never tried a warm candy cane fresh off the line, well let me just say, you are missing out! yummy to the tummy.
A lot of the dads were able to come since it was an evening field trip. Yes, a few even enjoyed the yummy chocolates they also make. Our favorite of the evening, dark chocolate with caramel and sea salt. Fabulous!!!
